Dmitry Strovsky, M.A., Ph.D., professor of Media History, is a lecturer at the Journalism Faculty of the Ural Federal University (Ekaterinburg, Russia) and researcher at Ariel University (Israel). Professor Strovsky is a prolific author of several books and numerous articles published in Russian and English on various issues concerning the historical and contemporary evolution of Russian mass communication and especially journalism. With his papers on the above mentioned matters, he participated in many international conferences. Mr. Strovsky has also received numerous fellowships, including Fulbright scholarship (2005), and has taught at universities in the United States, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, China, Israel, among others.
